Mr.Svetlov nominated for a Grammy Award\, was also honored with two Telerama Awards in France and he is a winner of Viotti International Competition in Italy… A principal soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow and Metropolitan Opera of New York he gave an absolutely magnificent opera performances in many of the most prestigious venues like Covent Garden in London\, Carnegie Hall\, Arena di Verona\, Houston Grand and Florida Grand operas\, Deutche Oper Berlin\, Teatro Colon and many others. His recent works are associated with productions at the MET “Meistersingers” and “Ariadne on Naxos”\, Zaccaria “Nabucco” Verdi in Erfurt\, Germany\, Rachmaninoff’s “Miserly Knight“ in Boston and Rossini’s “Mass” in Washington DC. \n\nALEX NAKHIMOVSKY is recognized as a versatile pianist for his dynamic career in performance\, recording\, production\, composition\, and education. His musical prowess spans jazz and classical genres\, encompassing musical direction\, arrangement\, solo and ensemble performances. Alex has graced stages worldwide\, collaborating with jazz legends like Benny Golson\, Jackie McLean\, and Grammy-nominated artists such as Bill Evans. His standout achievement includes a solo performance with Joe Hisaishi’s New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra\, resulting in the acclaimed “American In Paris” release. Beyond performing\, Alex’s co-production of Russia’s Baikal Waves International Jazz Festival since 2006 has fostered cross-cultural connections\, while he currently spearheads the BSBI Jazz Festival in Manchester\, CT.
