It’s an event like no other\, and we want you to be there! 🎉 \nThe screening of the famous documentary In Search of Yiddish! \nPresented by Mikhail Brusilovsky. A screening of the film\, a discussion of its creation and encounters with Alexander Gorodnitsky\, followed by a Q&A session. \nIn Search of Yiddish is a documentary film created by the renowned scholar and poet Alexander Gorodnitsky\, the director Yuri Khashchevatsky\, the journalist Natalia Kasperovich\, and the cinematographer Semyon Fridlyand. \nThe film’s narrative — dedicated to the fate of Yiddish (the language of the European Jewish diaspora) and its speakers — draws both upon Gorodnitsky’s own personal recollections and family documents\, and upon numerous encounters with people in Belarus\, the United States\, and Israel. \nEvery registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission.
