Today\, over 100 hostages are still missing\, including the bodies of those who died in captivity. \nAmid ongoing heartache and devastation\, CJP — alongside the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston\, the Israeli-American Council (IAC)\, the Consulate General of Israel to New England\, and synagogues and partners across Greater Boston — invites you and our entire community to commemorate the first anniversary of October 7 together. \nThe traumas of this past year have impacted each one of us differently and we don’t know what will unfold between now\, October 7\, and even beyond. But this evening will give us the opportunity to be with one another\, and to grieve as a community. \nThe event will feature stories from those most directly affected on or by October 7\, music to heal our souls\, inspiring speakers to remind us of the resilient spirit of Israel and Israelis\, and opportunities to mourn\, honor survivors and heroes\, and fill one another with strength and hope for our collective future. \nTickets are non-transferable and seating is general admission/first come\, first served. Добавлять ли пожертвование в пользу Zeffy и в каком размере\, зависит только от вас. \nНемного о себе\nРодился в Киеве\, репатриировался в Израиль незадолго до распада СССР. \nС раннего детства интересовался историей и в частности военной\, внешней политикой и конечно же военным делом\, а также актуальными военными событиями. Интерес к происходящему в Израиле и его истории уже давным-давно на первом месте в моей шкале приоритетов. \nОгромная заслуга в этом\, как и в том\, что помог мне привить способность к критическому мышлению\, принадлежит моему отцу. И за это я ему очень благодарен. \nПосле приезда в Израиль в 1991 я служил в армии\, учился\, и в бытность студентом устроился переводчиком в издательский дом ”Новости недели”. На тот момент это казалось всего лишь студенческой подработкой. Но со временем моя сфера деятельности в газете расширилась. Далее была должность новостного редактора\, а затем я получил возможность совмещать\, что называется\, приятное с полезным — заниматься той тематикой\, которая меня всегда особенно привлекала: военные реалии в Израиле и мире\, сфера безопасности\, ближневосточная политика. Так я стал военным корреспондентом и обозревателем\, продолжая специализироваться в данных областях долгие годы как в печатных\, так и электронных СМИ разных стран. Консультировал и консультирую госслужащих\, дипломатов\, различные организации\, а также НИИ в ряде стран. \nРегулярно выступаю на радио и ТВ\, а также даю интервью электронным СМИ разных стран. С конца 2023 года веду собственный YouTube-канал.
