DESCRIPTION:Center Makor is a proud partner of \nAnnual\nYom Hashoah Commemoration\nThere will be closed captioning in Russian.\nМероприятие проводится с русскими субтитрами. \nHolocaust Commemoration Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston invites you to join them at their annual Community Holocaust Commemoration of Yom HaShoah\, taking place on April 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Faneuil Hall. \nEach year we gather the Jewish and broader civic community of Boston for this event\, to honor local Holocaust survivors\, hear their testimonies\, and pay tribute to those who were murdered during the Holocaust. It has become\, and continues to be\, one of the most effective vehicles for convening our community to transmit memory and ensure an enduring commitment to preserving this critical legacy. \nAt a time when staggering numbers of young people are ignorant of this shameful chapter of history\, and as we witness antisemitism and hatred of all kinds of the rise\, this commemoration has become a powerful vehicle to counteract these troubling trends. \nPlease attend and invite others as well. \nRegister \nIt is possible to have on sight Russian captioning. A mobile device will be needed in order to view Russian captioning during the program.  \nRussian speakers OFF SIGHT will need to go into a zoom link for the program and then into a separate link in a different window to access the Russian or have 2 devices. so if you have 2 screens or someone has 2 devices etc. you’re fine.
