It has become\, and continues to be\, one of the most effective vehicles for convening our community to transmit memory and ensure an enduring commitment to preserving this critical legacy. \nAt a time when staggering numbers of young people are ignorant of this shameful chapter of history\, and as we witness antisemitism and hatred of all kinds of the rise\, this commemoration has become a powerful vehicle to counteract these troubling trends. \nPlease attend and invite others as well. \nRegister \nIt is possible to have on sight Russian captioning. Michael Kevin Jones (Cello) played for the royal family as a student\, has toured the world as a soloist\, and is an avid teacher and coach. She also got her degree from Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem\, Israel. She is a busy freelance violinist in the Greater Boston area. Irina performed with Broadway on Tour’s The Phantom of the Opera\, and Hello Dolly at Boston Opera House\, An American in Paris at Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine. She performed many shows with an amazing legends such as Marni Nixon\, Sarah Brightman\, Johnny Mathis and The Who. Irina is a former longstanding member of Cape Symphony and has an extensive experience playing with many symphony orchestras including New Hampshire\, Plymouth\, Lexington Symphonies and also Pro-Arte Chamber Orchestra. Irina has been on FSPA Music Faculty since 2009 and has played in the orchestra of many Franklin Performing Arts Company productions including Annie\, Sound of Music\, Charlie Brown\, Peter Pan\, The Music Man\, Spamalot\, Fiddler on the Roof\, Cabaret\, and most recently Legally Blonde\, Humbug!\, Sweeney Todd\, and The Sound of Music. Irina is a concertmaster for the annual FPAC Holiday Production of The Nutcracker and a coordinator of THE BLACK BOX Classical Series. \nIrina Kotlyar\nBorn in Kharkov\, Ukraine\, Irina Kotlyar earned her master’s degree and artistic diploma from the Jerusalem Rubin Music Academy. With Gregory Shifrin\, the Kotlyar-Shifrin Piano Duo has won several international prizes and awards\, including the Dranoff International Two Piano Competition (1999) in Miami and the First International Duo Piano Competition in Byalistok\, Poland (1999). The Duo has performed throughout Israel\, Europe\, and America\, including concerts with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra\, New World Orchestra of Miami\, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra\, and Israeli Chamber Orchestra.
