As Action for Post-Soviet Jewry marks 50 years of service, and Action for Ukraine continues to rise to meet the urgent challenges of today, we invite you to a special combined Annual Meeting to celebrate our impact, chart our path forward, and deepen our shared commitment.
Guest Speaker Josef Zissels is the co-president of Ukraine’s Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities (VAAD) and executive vice-president of Ukraine’s Congress of Ethnic Communities. He was a member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group (UHG), involved in the samizdat movement, a human rights activist, a prominent activist in the Jewish movement in Ukraine, and a political prisoner.
