OPEN TO MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE GREATER BOSTON AREA

Students Invited to Reflect on the Importance of Holocaust Remembrance and the Lessons it Holds for the Present

This annual essay contest honors Holocaust survivor Izzy Arbeiter z”l, and engages students across Greater Boston with the relevance of the Holocaust and its lessons today.

Six winners will receive an educational trip to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in D.C. and will be recognized at Greater Boston’s Yom HaShoah Commemoration on April 12, 2026.

Essay submissions are due by March 12, 2026.
