But what exactly is Limmud, and what does this exciting new chapter mean for you?
The Heart and Soul of Limmud
Limmud (the Hebrew word for “to learn”) is a global movement that began in the UK in 1980 and has since taken the world by storm. It isn’t just a lecture series; it’s an immersive, volunteer-driven celebration of Jewish culture, creativity, and knowledge.
The philosophy of Limmud is built on a few powerful ideas:
