Parisian Opera Diva in Boston!Parisian Opera Diva in Boston!

Dear Friends! Bonjour!

On behalf of Music, Arts & Fashion Productions and Boston International Music Competition, I would like to invite you to a very special concert DEUX VOIX: A Paris-Boston Reunion in Song, on Saturday, July 26th at 5:00 PM, at the beautiful House of Arts in Gloucester, MA—a private oceanside mansion known for its support of the arts.

When I studied in Paris, France, I became friends with a brilliant mezzo-soprano, Nona Javakhidze. She came to Paris on the invitation of the French government as an experienced and promising opera soloist from Tbilisi Opera Theater (Georgia), and received highest awards diploma from the prestigious Ecole Normale d’A. Cortot (where we studied together.) Nona remained in France and enjoys a very successful solo operatic career, performing at the best opera houses in Europe, including at the Opera National de Paris. I went back to the US, and we have not seen each other since, but we kept in touch all these years.

Nona is traveling to the US this summer to make her US debut and to preside as a judge at the Boston International Music Competition (www.BIMC.us) I could not miss this opportunity to spend time with her, and we will do a concert together at the beautiful House of Arts in Gloucester, MA on July 26th at 5PM.

I invite you to join this special Paris-Boston reunion, where Nona and I will perform beloved French repertoire, duets, opera, mélodies, etc. We hope to see you there! And, please, stay for the champagne reception afterwards! It will be a very special time – beautiful nature, friendship, beautiful music at the unique private mansion. Our wonderful hosts, Katya and Kolya Shaplyko, have been instrumental in supporting the “salon” culture in the Boston area. We are excited to be sharing the stage with the brilliant pianist, Levon Hovsepian.
