Join ADL New England, the Center for Adult Jewish Learning at Temple Israel of Boston, and the Jewish Community Relations Council for an important discussion on the intersection of white supremacy and antisemitism and what we can do to combat extremism and hate. Rabbi Elaine Zecher, Senior Rabbi of Temple Israel of Boston, will moderate a conversation between leading experts Eric K. Ward and Dr. Cynthia Miller-Idriss.

Eric K. Ward, Executive Director of the Western States Center, is a nationally-recognized expert on the relationship between authoritarian movements, hate violence, and preserving inclusive democracy. In his 30+ year civil rights career, he has worked with community groups, government and business leaders, human rights advocates, and philanthropy as an organizer, director, program officer, consultant, and board member.
Dr. Cynthia Miller-Idriss is Professor in the School of Public Affairs and in the School of Education at the American University in Washington, DC, where she directs the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab (PERIL) in the Center for University Excellence (CUE). She is the author, co-author, or co-editor of six books, including Hate in the Homeland: The New Global Far Right, published by Princeton University Press in October 2020.
