Frolyak’s work is of great significance. Aspects of her artistry are described below:
“Many of B. Frolyak’s works offer imaginary scenarios of overcoming the enemy and bringing about the victory for Ukraine through the symbolic victory of light over darkness in the sound continuum…
The distinctive features of B. Frolyak’s postmodern worldview are the presence in her works of elements of different eras and styles from Baroque to Impressionism, allusions to the music of W. A. Mozart, V. Sylvestrov, etc. It is emphasized that the main goal of Ukrainian art during the war is to establish the Ukrainian cultural identity and stimulate the interest of the European and world community in Ukraine through active cultural diplomacy, and this is the goal of the leading Ukrainian composers, including Bohdan Frolyak.”
