Rabbi Dr. Binyomin Abrams is a Professor of Chemistry at Boston University, the Director of the Science Education Program, and Director of General Chemistry. He was the recipient of the 2015 Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the 2021 Gitner Award for Innovation in Teaching with Technology. Dr.Abrams lectures extensively on the interplay of science and Judaism, and combines wit and humor to help illuminate difficult and complex topics.
Friday night: “Bridging the Gap: Reconciling a Jewish Heritage with a Scientific Career”

Saturday night: “Beakers & Black Hats: A Scientist’s Return to Observant Judaism”

Cost: $30 a person per lecture
$50 a person for both lectures
There will also be a lecture on Saturday at the kiddush after services that will be open to all; “The Methodology of Miracles: Examining once-in-history events and our everyday lives through the lens of Science and Torah”
